Wow! Feels so great to look at our store and have that sense of accomplishment. It's so interesting to look at some of the images we decided on and labored over live on our site. We wanted to put the best representations of our kits and their capabilities out there for everyone to see. 

Before the website, before the vendors, before the selection of tools and items in the pouch...before the pouch! There were two ideas we wanted to point to that were important and serve as the foundation for everthing we put out there...first, "Weight and Real Estate" This concept is what ultimately separates us from other systems, and there are a few out there. 

For those who are responders, outdoor enthusiasts, or those who just want to "get into the game", we thought it was time to execute. Everyone needs a "go-to" kit or system for their activities. Anything we carry or stow, ideally it's light, compact, and easy to manage. If it can be attached to something and easily accessed without feeling like 10 rolls of quarters barreling around, we have a winner! Taking a responders attitude and applying it to a true EDC (Every Day Carry) took some real thought but we feel like we knocked out of the park with our original offering, the Active Carry Technologies "Duty" kit. It can be carried anywhere; theme park, school campus, airport, outdoor acivities and excursions, camping, hunting, hiking, trekking, etc. Attach it to a belt, inside a pack, to the exterior (as pictured on our homepage slider), in your car's compartments, part of your college student's load out to school. It can go anywhere! 

The second foundation we're built on is "Layers of Redundancy"...what do we mean as it applies to our kits? Our approach when we choose items to populate our kits as standards, we look at their utility. We take a single item and see how useful it is in multiple applications. Will this item be useful beyond its intended use, where some imagination and "outside the box" thinking in a tough situation is required? "This is what this is for, however if this occurs it can be applied here as well." We took this thinking and applied it from the inception of our name, Active Carry Technologies, right down to our "Ouch Pouch". We wanted to put options in your hands! All of our kits, even the tactical style kits, re built with that in mind. Tactical-Practical defined in every Active Carry kit! This exactly why we chose products from H&H, SWAT-T, 3M, QUIKCLOT, NcSTAR, Carabiner shears, and Derma-safe. These items were picked not only for their quality and field-tested legitimacy, but they fit our criteria and litmus test. "Weight and Real Esatate" and "Layers of Redundancy".
